چکیده
Activated carbon from rice husk ash (AC-RH) and hazelnut husks (AC-HH) modified by Diopside (AC-RH/Diop, AC-HH/Diop) composites were synthesised applied for the adsorption of Copper Methylene blue industrial effluents. was provided sol-gel method activated prepared husks. The formation AC/Diop characterised FT-IR, FESEM, BET, XRD analyses. Effects pH, amount adsorbent, contact time at 10 mg L−1 on removal percentage studied Box Behnken design (BBD). Optimal conditions maximum MB adsorbent (95.54% 99.42%, respectively) as follows: (pH = 5.45, 7.35) (adsorbent amount: 0.10, 0.45 g), (contact time: 9.56, 13.49 min) in 20 mL pollutants concentration, respectively. In addition, kinetics, thermodynamics, isotherms examined. Adsorption (qmax: 184.25 289.51 g−1 MB, kinetics demonstrated that sorption processes better described Langmuir pseudo-second-order equation.

Rice husk a very low cost material has been utilized as adsorbent for the removal of lead from industrial effluents. Adsorption studies have been carried out at 28°Cand the effect of initial lead concentrations (100-1000) mg/l, adsorbent dosage (0.05-1) g, pH (2-10) and contact time (10-180) min on lead uptake to establish a mathematical model description percentage removal of Pb (II). The infl...
